When someone asks you what are your plans for the future and your impromptu reaction is oh me! I want to do an MBA. Well then please ask yourself a question 'Why do you want to do an MBA?' because believe me if you do not have a definite reason for doing MBA then the MBA will do you. You'll be put under trunk load of stress and chunk load of work, you'll have to manage assignments, lectures, cases, group discussion, presentations, quizzes and lots more all in a day. And when you are back from college you'll hit the library to prepare for the next days marathon and you definitely can't survive without preparing for the next day and if you fail to do it even once you'll be finding everything going in a tangential direction. So under such conditions you tend to question - was I struggling to get into a B-schools to go through this stress which keeps you on your toes all the time?
But then there is a school of thought and I subscribe to it too that going through hell is essential for a MBA grad and that's why an MBA is worth more than just a degree. It can turn a bad manager of time like me in to an efficient one, it will gradually make you someone who is not baffled in extreme situations, will make you a person capable of understanding the group dynamics and tackling different individuals in different ways and the list goes on but each day its an exhausting as well as enriching experience.
So as the quote goes "Something that does not kill you only makes you stronger". And I see the senior batch at my college are still alive and partying hard I believe that I'll survive it too and come out a stronger person from this drill.

Nice Post! hmmm...there is suffering in life, and there are defeats. When one goes through hardships and decides not to surrender, that is strength. It is better to battle in the struggles for your dreams than to be defeated without ever knowing what you're fighting for.
